Часни појас Пресвете Богородице једна је од највећих светиња хришћанског свијета, свједок Њеног земаљског живота и Њеног непрестаног присуства међу нама. Кроз вијекове је пред Часним појасом вјерни народ молио и тражио заштиту, и никада није отишао неутјешан.

Ове године свједочили смо великом броју вјерника у отаџбини, који су са великим стрпљењем чекали у реду, како би се у Храму Св. Саве поклонили Часном појасу Пресвете Богородице.

Благослов за нашу заједницу у Ванкуверу је, да ће управо дио те светиње, освештан над Часним појасом Пресвете Богородице бити доступан за поклоњење вјерницима.

The Holy Belt of the Most Holy Theotokos is one of the greatest sacred treasures of the Christian world, bearing witness to Her earthly life and to Her unceasing presence among us. Throughout the centuries, the faithful have prayed before the Holy Belt, seeking Her protection and intercession, and have never departed without consolation.

This year, we witnessed a great number of faithful in our homeland who, with remarkable patience, waited in long lines for the opportunity to venerate the Holy Belt of the Most Holy Theotokos at the Church of Saint Sava.

It is a great blessing for our community in Vancouver that a portion of this holy relic, which has been blessed and sanctified upon the Holy Belt of the Most Holy Theotokos, will be made available for our faithful to venerate.

The Veneration of the Holy Belt will take place during the upcoming services:
