Поштовани родитељи, учитељи и драги наши ђаци,
Са великом радошћу обавјештавамо вас да Српска школа при храму Светог Саве у Ванкуверу отвара врата нове школске године, те вас све срдачно позивамо на свечано окупљање и упис ученика у недјељу, 13. септембра.
План дана:
10.00 часова — окупљање у свечаној сали храма Светог Саве, добродошлица нашим досадашњим и новим породицама и упис ученика
10.50 часова — придружујемо се Светој Литургији. Литургија почиње у 10 часова, а ђаци заједно са учитељима и родитељима прикључују се нешто касније, како бисмо заједнички присуствовали молитви призива Светога Духа на почетку нове школске године.
11.10 часова — повратак у салу и радионице за дјецу, тематски распоређене по столовима и прилагођене узрасту, уз дружење и упознавање са учитељима.
Молитвеном призиву Светога Духа не присуствују само садашњи ђаци наше школе — позивамо и наше бивше ученике, као и студенте.
Молимо вас да обратите пажњу на сљедеће: иако сте електронску пријаву већ попунили, неопходно је да првога дана школе сви родитељи својеручно потпишу уписнице, ради уредног вођења наше архиве и евиденције.
У сали ће бити постављен и штанд са књигама на српском језику — од сликовница за најмлађе до лектире и књига за одрасле — па сви заинтересовани могу изабрати нешто за себе и за своју дјецу. Књиге се уступају по донацији, а сав прикупљени прилог биће намијењен набавци материјала за радионице током школске године.
Искористићемо ову прилику, да вас замолимо да вијест о упису и почетку нове школске године подијелите са пријатељима, родбином и колегама — понекад је довољна једна прослијеђена порука да још једно дијете крене да учи свој језик. Они који тога дана нису у могућности да присуствују Упису, могу нам се придружити накнадно. Врата наше школе, као и врата нашег храма, увијек су отворена.
Радујемо се поновном сусрету и заједничком почетку нове школске године.
Dear parents, teachers, and our dear students,
It is with great joy that we announce that the Serbian School at St. Sava Church in Vancouver is opening its doors for the new school year, and we warmly invite you all to our opening gathering and student registration on Sunday, September 13.
Plan for the day:
10:00 a.m. — Gathering in the main hall of St. Sava Church, a welcome to our returning and new families, and registration of students.
10:50 a.m. — We join the Divine Liturgy. The Liturgy begins at 10:00, and the students, together with their teachers and parents, join a little later, so that we may all be present for the prayer of the invocation of the Holy Spirit at the start of the new school year.
11:10 a.m. — Return to the hall and workshops for the children, arranged by theme at each table and suited to their age, with time to socialize and get to know the teachers.
The prayer of the invocation of the Holy Spirit is not only for our current students — we also invite our former pupils, as well as those now at university.
Please take note of the following: although you have already completed the online application, it is necessary that on the first day of school all parents sign the enrolment forms by hand, so that our archive and records are kept in proper order.
There will also be a stand in the hall with books in Serbian — from picture books for the youngest to assigned reading and books for adults — so anyone interested may choose something for themselves and for their children. The books are offered by donation, and all contributions collected will go toward purchasing materials for the workshops during the school year.
We would also like to take this opportunity to ask you to share the news of the registration and the start of the new school year with friends, relatives, and colleagues — sometimes a single forwarded message is all it takes for one more child to begin learning their own language. Those who are unable to attend Registration that day may join us afterwards. The doors of our school, like the doors of our church, are always open.
